i dont know if this is just me but like i cant play the game at all on mac. like when the download for the game finishes and you tap it your files, instead of being an app like the other visual novels i have , its in a folder with scripts of the visual novel , it might just be me but i reaally like the art of this visual novel deadass and i gen need to play this
I’m sorry this Otoge game didn’t meet your expectations, however I highly suggest looking through Itch’s various indie VNs to find games catered to your liking that give you gender options. Salvus: Aries is mainly catered towards a female identifying audience, although surprisingly we do have a male audience who do enjoy the plot as well as shared on our Discord community!
Furthermore, this game design choice is not aiming to marginalize other communities who don’t fully identify as female, but rather, bring forward a game for those girlies who grew up playing video games that did not give them the option to play as a strong female identifying character. This game is our omage to those from that upbringing.

i wm amazed by this game! The art and voice acting is so beautiful! I also cant believe how big the demo is!? Im like 5-6 hours in and its still going!? Usually the demos i play are 1-2 hours at most! Honestly makes me question if i somehow got a full version instead of a demo.. This game rips my heart out but in all the right ways, such amazing writing! I can not imagine what the full game will be like! i can not believe how my favorite character so far made me fall so quickly for him, to then violently rip my heart to shreds like that.. i seldom cry at these types of games but this one had me feeling my feelings fr 😭 I so very much would like to join the discord to speak more about this game with like-minded people, but unfortunately the link on this page shows up as invalid to me 😭

enjoyed the game a lot but kinda felt annoyed about the lack of choices like why must i make stupid choices? caym told me to let him handle it i want to let him handle it but the story was gd
I came into this game thinking it would be all cutesy and have just beautiful art to go along with it. But, Oh god, how wrong I was. The writing of this game was so beautiful yet absolutely tore my soul apart. And of course the art was all around beautiful, but that's a given hehe. I played Orias' ending first which seemed to be a mistake... as he is my favorite.. so it ripped me into tiny little pieces and then set me on fire to turn to dust. LOL. But seriously, I cant wait to see what the final version of the game becomes. This was so good that i literally HAD to make an account to comment. I hope that whoever sees this comment takes the time to play it, it really is that good!!!!!
(ps. the selection for the voice actors was SO good, i loved all their voices so so so much... i NEED to hear more of them!!!)

We currently don’t have plans to release for mobile, however, we do recommend a workaround using currently available cloud gaming platforms to play on Android or iOS!
Pick him in ur "tests" both chat and calling, pick him to go to the rooftop too. For the other choices pick what favors him more, u will then get his route :3 (the scene u're talking abt is also in his route)
At least this is how I got it and the other routes, hope it helps !

What a beautiful game. Its story hooked me from the start. It's one of the few otome games I've seen with impeccable aesthetics and character design. Its music is also beautiful, and it matches the settings very well. I hope it comes out soon! I already have it on my Steam wishlist so I can buy it when it comes out!

I hope it will be available on Steam as Steam restricts some games in certain countries because of it's missing age rating. For example I even don't have access to the Steam demo already because it's restricted.
The demo is so good, I was hooked from the start, the story is amazing, as is the art and the characters. To say i went back and chose every option i could, I need more content something fierce. The story and characters have me wrapped around their fingers gods damn haha.

I'm not quite finished with it yet, and I've been quick saving (probably my mistake, but maybe not), but the saves aren't showing up in game. They're in the saves file, but when I go to load them, they don't show up. If I could get some help on this issue, that'd be great, thanks!

Hi! Depending on your system, I've included instructions below:
For PC - 1. Search for %AppData% using your Windows search key. 2. Once inside, look for Roaming. 3. Click on the Renpy folder to find "Salvus Aries". 4. Saves folder should be inside with your saves! 5. Another saves folder is inside the unzipped Salvus-1.0-PC folder. 6. Click on salvus-1.0-pc once unzipped. 7. Head to the game folder. 8. Inside is another folder called "saves".
For Mac - 1. Click out and above your taskbar you'll see the button "Go". Hit "Go to Folder" next. 2. Enter ~/Library 3. Look for the Renpy folder and double click to access Salvus Aries 4. There should be a saves directory inside with your game saves.
Just finished the demo and I'm still FLOORED that this is just a snippet of the full game. I'm sitting here with literal tear tracks on my face, WOW. I'll be counting down the days until this drops because it's such a strong start!!
anyways I enjoyed the game, just kinda wished that at the end when MC sees youknowwhat she was in 5x more despair. I didn't like how she seemed to snap out of it so easily, and even though still distraught she can still think so clearly and rationally. I don't think her thoughts were consistent with how supposedly depressed she was feeling. I think it would be more poetic if she almost broke the way her friend did...Maybe like a bad end where if she doesn't pick any of the guys she goes mad and it's a bad end right there? Dunno, still liked it tho and will be coming back for more Seir
Also I agree with other reviews mentioning how its kinda hard to follow whether MC is saying something or thinking something

haven't played through much yet, but I really like it! one problem I'm having though is that when I click to go to the next dialogue, I often jump and get the message after and skip the message I'm supposed to be. it's very confusing and I don't know how to fix this. I don't know if this is just a problem with my computer or the game, but I thought I'd put it here anyway. again, awesome game!
